Description

This is a Notice of Sources Sought. This is not a request for a quote/proposal. ***No award will be issued with this notice*** Install Moveable Partition Louis Stoke VAMC Main Hospital Description: THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. The singular purpose of this notice is to obtain information on Contractor's interest, capabilities and qualifications to determine if a set-aside is appropriate. Preliminary market research indicates there are no Small Business Contractors capable of performing this work. The information obtained through this notice will be utilized exclusively as market research for acquisition planning purposes for the future solicitation of a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Contract. Proposals are NOT being requested or accepted at this time. Background: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Louis Stokes VA Medical Center of Cleveland, 10701 East Boulevard, Cleveland, Ohio 44106, has a requirement for the installation of a Hufcor Moveable Partition. This partition is needed in order to separate the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Space (PALMS) breakroom from the conference room. This moveable partition is electric powered, collapsible, and will have a built in man door for egress when the partition is fully extended. Work to be performed will be North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code: 236220 - "Commercial and Institutional Building Construction," with a Small Business size standard of $36.5 million. Scope: Contractor shall furnish and install a Hufcor Moveable Partition. Contractor shall furnish and install all electrical switches and controls required for a fully functioning partition. Contractor shall utilize the Hufcor specific steel structure that is currently installed in the ceiling and modify as required for mounting of the partition. See: Movable Partition Drawing and Movable Partition Reference Drawing for additional information and product specifications (attached). Period of performance is expected to be 100 calendar days from the Contractor's receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Work to be performed during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 7:00AM to 4:00PM. Place of Performance: Louis Stokes VA Medical Center of Cleveland 10701 East Blvd. Cleveland, Ohio 44106 Interested Parties: Responses to this notice must be made via e-mail to Matthew Curtis, Contracting Specialist, at matthew.curtis1@va.gov. Responses may be submitted as attachments, or contained in the body of the e-mail, and must be clearly marked "SOURCES SOUGHT RESPONSE - INSTALL MOVEABLE PARTITIONS" in the subject line. The deadline to respond is NLT 3:00PM (EST) on 7/29/2016. Responses received after the deadline, or without the required information will not be considered. Submit the following documentation/information: a.Company Name, Address, and Point of Contact with Phone Number b.Company Brochure outlining Company's Capabilities c.Company Size d.Company Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) Number e.If Company is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business; Proof of registration in the VA VetBiz website and verification by VA Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) Certificate f.Any other pertinent company documentation.
