Description

The Naval Air System Command (NAVAIR) Patuxent River, MD, intends to negotiate a task order with ERAPSCO, 4578 East Park 30 Drive, Columbia City, IN 46725-8869, on a sole source basis for Engineering Support Services (ESS) for a U.S. Navy Automated Extended Life Sonobuoy (AELS) prototype development. The AELS project will make modifications to the circuit board(s) and battery; and integrate Iridium into the AN/SSQ53G sonobuoy manufactured and produced by ERAPSCO. The ESS will be advisory in nature to assist small businesses in the assembly and testing of the AELS prototype. A sole source contract is consistent with the terms identified within this announcement upon the basis of the authority provided in 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice is not a request for proposals. No phone inquiries will be entertained.
