- PACKAGING REQUIREMENTS The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center has a requirement and requesting quotations for the following part: 1. NSN: 6685-99-280-7532 INDICATOR, TEMPERATURE HUMIDITY MFG: AERONAUTICAL & GENERAL INSTRUMENTS PART NUMBER: 81702-0800-00 QUANTITY: 05 EACH 2. NSN: 6685-99-840-6462 CAP, FILTER SPECIAL MFG: AERONAUTICAL & GENERAL INSTRUMENTS PART NUMBER: 368 0059SP QUANTITY: 50 EACH 3. NSN: 6685-99-235-5427 ELEMENT SENSING MFG: AERONAUTICAL & GENERAL INSTRUMENTS PART NUMBER: 368 0054SP QUANTITY: 08 EACH 4. NSN: 6685-99-297-9609 SHIELD, SENSOR MFG: AERONAUTICAL & GERNAL INSTRUMENTS PART NUMBER: 368 005SP QUANTITY: 09 EACH PLEASE ENSURE ASSETS ARE INDIVIDUALLY PACKAGED FOR PHYSICAL AND MECHANICAL PROTECTION. PLEASE ENSURE ASSETS ARE INDIVIDUALLY PACKAGED AND MARKED IAW SP-PP&M-001. The items are used on various US Coast Guard vessels. Substitute part numbers are NOT acceptable. All items will be individually packaged and bar-code in accordance with Coast Guard specification IAW SP-PP&M-001. Inspection and acceptance shall take place at Destination after verification of preservation, Individual packaging and marking requirements and confirmation of no damage during transit. Failure to comply with packaging requirements will result in rejection and nonpayment. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to USCG Surface Forces Logistics Center, Baltimore MD. NOTE: NO DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS OR SCHEMATICS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THIS AGENCY. Substitute parts are not acceptable. It is anticipated that a non-competitive sole source purchase order shall be awarded as a result of this synopsis/solicitation. It is the Government's belief that only AERONAUTICAL & GENERAL INSTRUMENTS and/or their authorized distributors can obtain the required OEM parts. Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to provide these items are invited to submit complete information discussing the same within two (2) calendar days from the day this notice is posted This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format outlined in FAR Subpart 12.6, FAC 2005-88 (June 2016) and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 334519 The resultant purchase order will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13 All responsible sources may submit a quotation via email to: Yvette.R.Johnson@USCG.MIL, which if timely received, shall be considered by the Agency. COMPANIES MUST HAVE VALID DUNS numbers and be registered with System for Award Management (SAM.GOV) and shall provide the company Tax Information Number (TIN) with their offer. The closing date and time for receipt of quote is July 27, 2016 at _1:00_ PM Eastern Standard Time.
