- Description
- Provide and install a 60' x 168' pre-engineered metal building with an eave height of 13' on one side and 18' on the other side. It shall be complete with concrete foundation and columns and a 3' high concrete stem wall on all sides. It shall be used for treating and holding cattle and calves in one of the outlying areas of the research facility. It shall have 3 overhead doors with operators and 3 manual overhead doors. It shall also have 2 walk doors, vent openings, and windows. Options shall include wall, roof, and overhead door insulation, a lightning protection system, and electrical work such as lighting and electrical outlets. Estimated price range, options inclusive, is between $250,000 and $500,000. Clauses & provisions, specifications, drawings and General Decisiion are poated. Provide questions by 25 July 2016 to joe.warrick@ars.usda.gov or louise.snitz@ars.usda.gov This solicitation will be converted from an Invitation for Bid to a Request for Proposal, to allow for questions and evaluation on other than price factors. The amended SF1442 and Provisions and Clauses will be posted shortly.
