Pre-Solicitation Notice Solicitation R16PS00407 - Recondition Bearings Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity NAICS: 333613 - Mechanical Power Transmission Equipment Manufacturing Product Service Code: 3120 Bearings The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) has a requirement for reconditioning bearings for Hoover, Davis, and Parker Dams generating units. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, tools, test equipment, transportation, supervision, and other items and services necessary to recondition various bronze bushings, thrust bearing components, and guide bearings to original configuration. This is an indefinite-delivery, indefinite quantity contract with a 5-year ordering period. This is a commercial item requirement which is a competitive 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is: 333613 Mechanical Power Transmission Equipment Manufacturing. The small business size standard for NAICS Code 333613 is 750 employees. This acquisition will be pursued in accordance with FAR Part 15 and in accordance with the source selection evaluation criteria included in the Request for Proposal. Offerors will be asked to submit a technical proposal, a price proposal, and a business proposal. Award will be made using best-value, source-selection procedures incorporating tradeoffs between price-related and non-price-related factors. The resulting contract will be a multi-award firm-fixed price Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity contract. Task/Delivery orders will be competed on fair opportunity basis. The resulting delivery over will be firm-fixed pricing. The ordering period is five years from the date of award. Offerors are required to have a current registration on the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for contract award. Offerors may register on SAM at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued on or about July 29, 2016. No documents will be available until the solicitation is issued. The solicitation will only be issued electronically via www.FBO.gov. Offerors should register on FBO to be included on the offeror list in order to receive notifications pertaining to the solicitation, or visit the FBO website after issuance to download the solicitation and any subsequent amendments. All parties are responsible for checking the FBO website to ensure that they have the most current information. All dates in this announcement are estimates and are subject to change.
