- Description
- Justification The National Science Foundation (NSF) intends to solicit a simplified acquisition, on a sole source basis for maintenance support services of the NSF IT Service Catalog. This was developed to help standardize NSF computer equipment purchases using PMG's Service Catalog tool. This IT catalog is used exclusively throughout NSF, for authorized purchases to "shop" for computer equipment (approved for NSF purchase under our current Computer Equipment BPA). This product was developed according to NSF Requirements, and meets all NSF IT Security mandates, as well as integration with NSF systems, servers, custom databases, and networking infrastructure. NSF currently owns this application and licenses, PMG's Service Catalog is the only tool able to service our existing application and licenses. The anticipated period of performance is one year starting August 22, 2016 - August 21, 2017 with an estimated value of $41,000.00. PMG.NET, Inc. is the only source for the required services. The proposed contract action is for maintenance services to include upgrades and enhancements, for which the Government intends to sponsor with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This synopsis is for informational purposes only.
