Description

This is a request for information only (RFI) to identify Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business/Veteran-owned small business sources that a brand name only safety cabinet is requested to be delivered to the University of Illinois research department for the Jesse Brown VAMC research service. The information provided in this RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the government. The Dept of Veterans Affairs has not made a commitment to procure any of the items discussed, and the release of this RFI should not be construed as such a commitment or as authorization to incur cost for which reimbursement would be required or sought. All submissions become government property and will not be returned. Responders are advised that the US Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOps) website. General requirements: Contractor shall provide a Thermo Scientific 1300 Series Class II, Type A 2 Biological Safety Cabinet for the Jesse Brown VAMC, Chicago, IL. Vendor shall be a certified SDVOSB/VOSB vendor, certified in VetBiz. Vendor shall be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized dealer, authorized distributor, or authorized reseller for the proposed product such that the OEM warranty is provided and maintained by the OEM.
