- Amended SOW - updated Period of Performance Amendment #3 to RFPP070016NAS0919/0003 The Federal Bureau of Prisons (Bureau), National Acquisition Section, Washington, D.C., intends to make a single award, indefinite delivery, requirements type contract with firm fixed unit prices for Healthcare Accreditation Services at various Bureau locations located throughout the contiguous United States, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. However, the Bureau reserves the right to make multiple awards, no more than two awards, if it is determined to be in the best interest of the Government. This solicitation is issued as full and open competition. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. The solicitation is being issued as Request for Proposal (RFP) RFPP070016NAS0919. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-88(a). The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 813920 which have a size standard of $15 million. The contract period of performance will consist of one (1) year base period and four (4) one year option periods for renewal at the discretion of the Government in accordance with FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services. All services associated with this requirement shall be provided by a nationally recognized Healthcare Accreditation Organization. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management Systems (SAMS) database. The website for registration is www.sam.gov. Please refer to the RFPP070016NAS0919 for further details. Faith-based and community-based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Questions concerning this RFP must be submitted via email to jpbrown@bop.gov by Monday, June 27, 2016, no later than 5:00 pm Eastern Standard Time (EST). The subject line of the email must state "RFPP070016NAS0919 (Healthcare Accreditation Services) Offeror Questions." All answers will be posted in writing on www.fbo.gov. Questions will not be answered verbally or individually. No telephone calls. The deadline for receipt of proposals is July 21, 2016 at 5:00 pm EST.
