- ***THIS IS A "SOURCES SOUGHT" NOTICE*** The 119th Wing, located in Fargo, ND, is conducting simple Market Research to determine an available pool of vendors who may be able to supply a Mobile Training Facility in accordance with the specifications identified in this Sources Sought Notice. The 119 th Wing MAY have a requirement in the near future for this mobile training facility. This IS NOT a REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ). Please see the following product description regarding this possible requirement. Product Description: Mobile Training Facility Application : This product description is necessary for the possible procurement of a Mobile Training Facility to support close-quarters simunition training for the 119 th WG/SFS. Functional Characteristics: This Mobile Training Facility must be able to be assembled and disassembled (non-permanent) in a manner that meets the evolving training needs of the 119 th WG/SFS. This training system must possess the capability to be moved to various locations and allow various configurations of walls to construct rooms and hallways that facilitate various training scenarios. This system needs to be able to be broken down and stored in containers suitable to be placed and transported on pallet size containers for storage when not in use. This Mobile Training Facility must also provide capability for expansion; that is, it must be able to accept "add-ons" to expand square footage of the facility in the future if it is determined additional training resources are required. Performance Characteristics: This mobile facility must be sufficient for "Shoot, Move and Communicate" training scenarios such as room clearing and active shooter training exercises. This facility must also possess moveable walls that must be able to be reconfigured in minimal time by the end-user to change the floor plan / design for various training scenarios (different sized rooms, multiple rooms and hallways). The entire system must be constructed of a material that is capable of containing and resisting Air Force UTM small arms simunitions (9mm Pistol and 5.56mm Rifle) and be able to withstand varying weather conditions. Physical Characteristics : Color: Tan, Black or Olive Drab Dimensions: Minimum 20 feet in length x 20 feet in width (400 square ft. minimum) overall with the ability to expand, reconfigure and "add-on" additional square footage and walls, if desired in the future. Panels Required: Floor, walls, overhead cover (ceiling) are required. Walls must be at least 8' tall to accommodate all students involved in training while wearing required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and standard duty equipment. Training facility must have a type of overhead cover that will contain simunitions and provide a barrier to allow for low-light and night vision training. Material: Must be constructed of a material that is lightweight, yet able to withstand temperature and conditions of Fargo ND, (wind, rain, and temperatures ranging from 35ºF to 100ºF). System must also be capable of containing and resisting Air Force UTM small arms simunitions (9mm Pistol and 5.56mm Rifle). Storage: This system needs to be able to be broken down easily and stored in containers suitable to be placed and transported on pallet size containers for storage when not in use. As previously identified, the 119th Wing is conducting simple Market Research to determine an available pool of vendors who may be able to supply a Mobile Training Facility. At this time, this is not a "hard requirement", nor has this requirement been completely defined. Additionally, no funding is currently available for this requirement. The characteristics identified above are anticipated to be required once this becomes a "hard requirement". Once this requirement has become completely defined and approved, a solicitation will either be posted or interested vendors who respond to this SOURCES SOUGHT posting will be contacted directly. If you are an interested party who can provide a product in accordance with the information provided above, please respond to this SOURCES SOUGHT Posting. In your response, please provide the following information: •1. Please identify the Name of your Business Entity, a POC, CAGE Code, DUNS Number, Federal Tax ID Number, and GSA Contract Number, if applicable. •2. Product information, to include the manufacturer and the manufacturer's part number, of the item(s) you may be able to offer that meet the requirements identified in this SOURCES SOUGHT notice. •3. Interested vendors MAY submit pricing information; however, be advised that this SOURCES SOUGHT notice in no way constitutes a solicitation and that any pricing submitted my interested parties may be utilized for budgetary planning purposes only.
