SOURCES SOUGHT/ REQUEST FOR INFORMATION "Wilmington VAMC HVAC/GRD Cleaning Services" The following is a Sources Sought/Request For Information notice. The Wilmington VA Medical Center is currently seeking potential qualified sources to provide HVAC/GRD services. The results of this sources sought will be used to help the government gain knowledge of potential qualified sources to provide the required elevator maintenance services. Therefore, it is very important that all interested parties please respond promptly. The general performance description of the required services is as follows: 1.Title of Project: Wilmington VAMC HVAC/Grilles, Register, and Diffuser (GRD) Cleaning. 2.General Description of Required Services: a.Semi-Annual service contract for cleaning. Contractor will provide labor, equipment, materials and supervision needed to perform the cleaning of all of the Supply, Return and Exhaust grilles and diffusers of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems throughout VAMC Wilmington, DE. b.Work requires the use of HEPA vacuum and disinfectant for the cleaning of grilles, diffusers and ductwork. c.All ductwork will be cleaned as far as can be reached. d.Work covers building #1, Clinical addition, Community Living Center and all outer buildings on station, approximately 500,000 GSF. e.Contractor must be in compliance with OSHA and safety requirements. f.Work will be done in a professional manner and not to disrupt patients or residents. Work will be arranged through the engineering office. All work will be completed between the hours of 4:00 pm and 2:00 am, Monday - Thursday. g.Service is required two times per contract year, at intervals of 5-7 months between cleanings. 3.Performance Period: 12-Month Base Contract + one 12- Month Option that may be exercised at the sole-discretion of the government.
