Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Acquisition Operations, Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, New Jersey, intends to enter into a contract on a basis of other than full and open competition for operational support and maintenance of the current Veterans Online Business Registry (VetBiz) and VetBiz Case Management System (VCMS). TAC intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price contract to Valador, Inc. 560 Herndon Parkway, Suite 300, Herndon, VA 20170-5239, pursuant to 41 U.S.C.3304(a)(5), "Authorized or Required by Statute", as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-5. For this action, 38 U.S.C. 8127(c), known as the Veterans First Contracting Program, provides the authority to directly contract with an SDVOSB or a VOSB. This action shall provide operations, maintenance, deficiency review & corrections, defect repair, migration, web services, data integration and on-site technical support for the VetBiz system to include support for the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) web server, VIP database, VCMS e-signature solutions, web services, system integrations, and all other software components. The period of performance shall be six months, with up to two 6-month option periods, and two optional tasks. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this effort is 541511 with size standard of $27.5M. This notification shall close on July 22, 2016.
