Description
The United States Army Contracting Command-Redstone (ACC-RSA) intends to issue a solicitation in support of the Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense Product Office (AIAMD). It is ACC-RSA's intent to issue a base period with First Article Testing (FAT), with a one year option, Firm Fixed- Price contract. This is 100 percent small business set-aside. This synopsis is being issued in accordance with FAR 5.204 Pre-Solicitation Notices. The effort includes manufacturing and delivery of the M3 CROP, NSN 3990-01-442-2751 for use for the IAMD Battle Command System (IBCS) Program in support of long lead and Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) activity. The AIAMD Program intent is uniquely structured to enable the development of an overarching System of Systems (SoS) capability with all participating Army Air Defense components functioning interdependently to provide total-operational capabilities not achievable by the individual element systems. The AIAMD program achieves this objective by establishing the AIAMD architecture and developing the IBCS consisting of Engagement Operations Centers (EOCs) implementing common Mission Command (MC) capability, an Integrated Fire Control Network (IFCN) capability for fire-control connectivity enabling distributed operations, and the IFCN Relays that network enable existing sensor components and weapon components with the IBCS. The M3 CROP, NSN 3990-01-442-2751 will be provided as Government Furnished Equipment as part of the IAMD Battle Command System (IBCS) EOC major end items. The M3 CROP provides the mounting interface between the M1148 Load Handling System (LHS) Family of Medium Tactical Vehicle and the S-280 Shelter. All responses shall be submitted to the U.S. Army Contracting command, ATTN: CCAM-SM-A/Eddie Lewis, Building 5250, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898 -5280 or email eddie.d.lewis18.civ@mail.mil. Your written responses are required by 1530 CDT 25 July 2016. All questions and comments must be in writing (electronic email responses are acceptable), and no telephone calls will be accepted.
