iPERMS Industry Day Info Paper iPERMS Industry Day Invitation This notice serves as official notification of the Army Human Resources Command Industry Day regarding the Interactive Personnel Electronic Records Management System (iPERMS) requirement, in support of the United States Army Human Resources Command. This event will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 10:30 AM - 14:30 PM EDT (vendors may arrive no earlier than 10:30 AM). The Industry Day session will be held at The Patton Museum, FT. Knox, KY. This is a no-fee event and the Government will not compensate participants for travel, lodging or any other expenses associated with this event. Interested vendors shall RSVP no later than Wednesday, August 3 at 6:00 PM EDT via email to Karen Loss, karen.m.loss.civ@mail.mil, and/or Angela Scriven, angela.l.scriven2.civ@mail.mil. Vendors may bring up to three representatives. RSVP emails should include: -Names and Titles of attendees -Company Name -Phone Number -Email address -Business Size -Any Applicable Socioeconomic Designations The purpose of this Industry Day is to brief interested parties on the iPERMS requirement. It is the Government's intent at this time to encourage Government/Industry exchanges of information to improve understanding of Government requirements and increase efficiency in future proposal preparations. This notice does not constitute an Invitation for Bids or a Request for Proposal (RFP) and is not a commitment by the U.S. Government to enter into any acquisition for any products or services. The Government appreciates your interest in the Army Human Resources Command iPERMS Industry Day. This Industry Day session will follow the principles identified in Federal Acquisition Regulation 10.002(b)(2)(i). The objective of Army Human Resources Command Industry Day is to provide a better understanding of the Army's mission, objectives, constraints, and technical environment so that prospective offerors and their team members may determine whether they are able to satisfy the Army's requirements. Industry Day will begin with briefings by the Army Contracting Command - Rock Island, Contracting Officer and the prospective Contracting Officer's Representative. A question and answer (Q&A) session will follow the briefings. The questions posed during the Q&A should not be related to the Source Selection Team, their roles, or responsibilities. Note: Advance questions are ALLOWED. Please submit all questions to the POCs identified above by NLT Wednesday August 3rd, 2016. The Government assumes no responsibility for any representation made by any of its officers or agents during the session. Questions received and Government responses furnished during the session are unofficial. Government representatives have been instructed to answer to the best of their ability and knowledge. The Government will not be recording the session. However, the Government will be taking notes to assure that any questions requiring official answers have been properly documented. The requirements and strategy as stated during this session are all subject to change as the acquisition evolves; therefore the vendors shall rely on the Solicitation or Task Order Request for Proposals (TORFP), whichever is used. The Government looks forward to meeting with you and assisting you as you develop unique solutions to our important challenges. Additional Information: - No photo, audio, or video equipment is allowed in the building. - No video or audio recording will be permitted. - Cell phones and pagers shall be turned OFF while in the Industry Day room, or preferably left outside the event. - Slides pertaining to the Army Human Resources Command Interactive Personnel Electronic Records Management System (iPERMS) Industry Day will be sent to the registered attendees prior to the event. The slides should be printed and brought to the event as the Government will only have a limited number of printouts available.
