Description

The Army Contracting Command - Redstone Arsenal, AL intends to award, on an other than full and open competition basis, a new 60 month production contract for the Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC) Blue Force Tracker 2 (BFT2) Installation Kits. It is anticipated that an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract will allow for the issuance of Delivery Orders on a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) basis. The contractor will provide integration of subsystems into the UH/HH-60M aircraft, which include performing both the component and system airworthiness qualification substantiation and testing associated with component and subsystem integration of the UH/HH-60M aircraft. This effort necessitates engineering knowledge and understanding of the basic UH/HH-60M airframe and systems/subsystems that is not contained in any data (drawings and documents). This requirement is sole source to SAC, 6900 Main Street, Stratford, CT 06614-1385, Cage Code: 78286 due to the fact that they are the sole designer, integrator, and manufacturer of the Blue Force Tracker subsystem.
