Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a Delivery Order under the Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-16-G-0001 with The Boeing Company on a sole source basis for the procurement of 162 Inboard Throttle Transverse Shaft kits on a Firm Fixed Price Basis. This purchase is in support of the AV-8B Harrier program and shall support both the United States Navy(USN) and the Italian and Spanish Navies. NAVAIR does NOT intend to use the provisions of FAR Part 12 for this acquisition. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, by the response date, which will be considered by the agency. Written responses shall be submitted by email to the point of contact listed below. All responsible sources must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at the following website: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.
