- To support current and upcoming furniture requirements, the FAA has a need to establish a national furniture procurement program to support all office locations nation-wide, U.S. territories, and all other FAA locations. The primary focus will be, but not limited to, three (3) service centers in Renton, WA, College Park, GA, and Fort Worth TX; six remaining regional offices located in Anchorage, AK; Kansas City, MO; Jamaica, NY; Des Plains, IL; Burlington, MA; and Lawndale, CA; and FAA Headquarters, Washington, DC. In addition, the FAA is supporting furniture requirements at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), Oklahoma City, OK; William J. Hughes Technical Center, Atlantic City, NJ; and any other FAA-occupied locations nation-wide and U.S. territories. The contractor services capability will be especially critical for these areas. Furniture will include the need to procure systems and modular furniture. Each project issued under the contract shall be issued through a task order and shall have a description of the work to be completed, funding authorization and a defined schedule for completion/installation. The contractor must execute the delivery and installation of the required furniture product within the time frames defined by the project schedule provided with each task order. Over the ten (10) year term of this contract the FAA anticipates the production and installation of 22,861 offices and workstations. The initial project under this contract shall be for the delivery and installation of systems and modular furniture for the new Northwest Mountain (ANM) regional office located in Renton, WA. The selected vendor will be responsible for the manufacture, testing, delivery and installation of all components necessary to meet the FAA ™s requirements. Please review the solicitation in its entirety and carefully follow all the instructions. FAA plans to make a single award but reserves the right to make no award if it is in the Agency ™s best interest. The principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 337214, Office Furniture (except wood) Manufacturing, with a size standard of 500 people. Written questions or comments on the solicitation must be submitted in accordance with the solicitation instructions and received no later than July 13,2016. Responses that clarify questions and comments may be provided to all Offerors and may serve as a reason to amend the solicitation, however, the source of the questions will not be identified. Phase I submittals are due no later than 2:00pm Eastern Daylight Savings Time (EDST) on July 28, 2016 in accordance with L.7 of the SIR. Phase II submittals (Technical and cost proposals) are due no later than 2:00pm Eastern Daylight Savings Time (EDST) on August 31, 2016 in accordance with L.7 of the SIR. To encourage subcontracting opportunities, the FAA intends to announce competing offers in accordance with AMS clause 3.2.2.3-72. Competing offerors must notify the CO in writing, at the time you submit your proposal, if you do not want your name and address made public for subcontracting opportunities. The CO will not release your information if you request it be withheld. To be considered for award, vendors should be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) and not be listed on the Excluded Parties List System (EPLS). Prospective offerors are hereby on notice that any amendment(s) issued to this solicitation will be published at http://faaco.faa.gov/under which is the current announcements website for FAA Headquarters. It is the Offerors' responsibility to visit this website frequently for updates on this procurement. If an amendment is issued and the Offeror does not acknowledge it, the Offeror may be considered nonresponsive to the solicitation.
