- Description
- This statement provides notice that the government anticipates awarding a primarily Cost Plus Fixed Fee Price contract for Sustainment Support in support of the Low Altitude Navigational and Targeting Infrared for Night Radar Subsystem (LANTIRN). The Contractor shall provide efforts required for Sustainment Support and Travel in support of the LANTIRN system. The proposed contract action is for services and supplies for which the Government intends to negotiate and award a five-year sole source contract to Lockheed Martin Integrated Systems, Inc. (CAGE: 1WQX4), 645 Tallulah Trail Suite 101, Warner Robins, GA 31088. This is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 "Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements". All responsible sources may submit a capability statement of proposal, which shall be reviewed by the U.S. Government. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed contract action will be based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In accordance with Air Force Instruction (AFI) 16.201, foreign participation is not permitted at the prime contractor level. All potential offerors should contact the Contracting Specialist/Procuring Contracting Officer identified above for additional information, questions, and/or concerns. This solicitation is expected to be released on 11 July 2016 with a response due no later than 30 days after the issuance of the solicitation. The period of performance for this contract will consist of one (1) 12-month basic period and four (4) 12-month option periods. The place of performance will be specified in the forthcoming solicitation.
