Description
This is a sources sought notice and is not a request for bids. This sources sought is to determine how many businesses are qualified and capable of performing ground support to include inspection and all aspects of maintenance during the performance of an Aircraft Condition Inspection (ACI) on the T-34C Turbo-Mentor. The United States Navy (USN) Foreign Military Sales (FMS) has a requirement to recondition/reactivate aircraft located at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base (AFB), Tucson, AZ. The contract is anticipated to be for a Base Year of 12 months and four (4) 12-month option years. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) code that this work falls under is 488190, Other Support Activities for Air Transportation, with a size standard of $32.5 million. Prospective Contractors shall perform T-34C ACI services as set forth in the performance work statement (PWS) to support International customers on their transition to the T-34C Mentor. U.S. Navy Naval Air System Command - AIR-1.4 Jacksonville anticipates a need for an initial minimum of two (2) with a maximum of eight (8) T-34C Mentors to receive an Aircraft Condition Inspection IAW NAVAIR PMA273 T-34C ACI during the entire period of performance of this contract. The information contained in the PWS is DRAFT only and as such, is subject to change prior to issuance of a solicitation The magnitude of this project is expected to be between the amounts of $1.4M to $1.8M each year. Those firms interested in providing information in response to this sources sought are requested to provide the following information to the Contract Specialist, Wendy G. Colon at wendy.colon@navy.mil by 1:00 pm EST, 6 July 2016: 1) Firm Name; 2) Firm Address; 3) DUNS/CAGE Code; 4) POC and Alternate POC Information; 5) Size of Business (number of employees); and 6) Capability Statement in accordance with (IAW) the attached General Capability Inquiry.
