Description
The purpose of this Amendment 0001 to RFI W52P1J-16-R-DATAPROCESS is to: 1.) Answer the following questions received from industry: Industry Questions: Q1. Does the contractor need to have a security cleared facility? A1: Contractor personnel will need to have Facility Security Clearance. Q2. Our personnel are seasoned data professionals for over 15 years with security clearance and clearable to any level. Will that suffice? A2: Yes. Q3. Per our understanding, the Army already has the raw data of what software is installed on what machine. The contractor needs to analyze the data, come up with a normalized data model, integrate the raw data, and generate reports as indicated in the PWS. Is this correct? If yes, we do not need any normalization software as we can come up with a data model just by analyzing the data. A3: Raw data from discovery tools such as SCCM have multiple data values belonging to a particular software installation on a machine that needs to be processed, analyzed and filtered correctly to produce the correct value that is the evidence of the particular software installed on a machine. Therefore, normalization in this sense is a required functionality. Q4. Can this work be done remotely by cleared US citizens as this will save costs to the government? A4: If the services required are provided on a government approved cleared facility, this may be an option to consider. 2. Extend the RFI closing date to 20 June 2016. Closing time will remain the same. 3. All other terms and condition of this RFI remain unchanged.
