- Draft PWS SOURCES SOUGHT Windows 10 Transition Support Services This notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation or firm requirement. This is strictly a Request for Information (RFI) for a tentative requirement for Windows 10 Transition Support services. No Request for Proposal (RFP) exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the RFP. Responses to this RFI are not proposals to which Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) can issue orders. ACC-RI is issuing this RFI to determine if an adequate number of qualified interested contractors are capable of performing the Windows 10 Transition Support services described in the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). The intended requirement will fulfill an immediate need for strategic communication support for the Army's transition to the Windows 10 operating system in support of the Headquarters Department of Army (HQDA), Chief Information Office (CIO)/G-6. The Government will use the responses received for information/planning purposes and to identify potential sources as part of market research. Interested vendors are asked to submit a capability statement showing how they will address the following, as well as the draft PWS found as Attachment 0001: 1. Provide evidence of becoming fully mission capable by 01 July 2016. 2. Provide experience telling the story of a large defense organization's complex deployment of a technology solution across the organization's entire enterprise. 3. Provide recent experience and evidence of close familiarity with Headquarters, Department of Army; Army CIO/G-6, and Department of Defense (DoD) staffing processes. 4. Provide evidence of familiarity with overall Army CIO/G-6 and DoD Chief Information Officer initiatives and how the Windows 10 transition relates to the more broad Network. All information received in response to this RFI marked "Proprietary" will be protected and handled accordingly. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. ACC-RI will not pay for information received in response to this RFI. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. The anticipated period of performance is a two-month base with one-month option period. The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice by providing the company's capabilities of meeting the performance requirements. Capability statements shall include the following: company name, point of contact, address, telephone, website and email addresses, brief description of company and its capabilities to perform the Win10 requirements in accordance with the draft PWS, brief descriptions of recent and relevant projects for tasks similar to those in the draft PWS, DUNS number, CAGE Code, as well as size category and socioeconomic status. Notice to Contractors: All contractors who provide goods or services to the Department of Defense (DoD) must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
