- This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential qualifications of Small Businesses, including 8(a), Hub Zone and Service Disabled Veteran-Owned firms relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 339113.The Department of Veteran's Affairs is seeking small business manufacturer or distributors of small business manufacturers, of functionally equivalent equipment to all the following: Sorin Xtra Autotransfusion System 75221- Xtra Equipment 110V 50HZ Version 75307-Xvac Vacuum Pump 110V Version ) Essential/significant physical, functional, or performance characteristics. oMust have a full-color LCD display with touch screen technology. oMust have Dual RBC detector technology to allow for high filling of the bowl. oMust have an integrated Hct sensor which provides information on RBC concentration of the inlet blood during fill phase and outlet blood during the empty phase. oMust have a waste line color indicator providing on screen information on the wash quality by a visual indicator. oMust have 4 pivoting wheels with both front and rear handles for maneuverability. oMust have a transparent centrifuge lid to protect the machine from any spillage and allows visibility into the centrifuge. oSystem must be able to transport more than 6 liters and fluid and maintain stability. oIV poles must have four hooks for bags and a compartment for storage of caps and pens. oCentrifuge Arm must allow for one-hand arm locking/unlocking. oMust have an automatic stop when reservoir is empty. oMust be able to remove >99% of fat particles. oSystem must have a >92% Heparin, Protein, Aluminum, and Potassium removal rate. oVacuum must have two power ranges -50 to -300in intra-operative mode and -10 to -100 in post-operative mode. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION AND DOES NOT OBLIGATE THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE A SOLICITATION. Please be advised that the Government will not pay for any information submitted under this announcement.
