Description

Install Theatre Audio Visual System A.The scope of work covered under this Section includes but is not limited to: 1.A complete audiovisual system for the Building #210, Theater/Auditorium within the Togus VA Medical Center Complex located in Augusta, Maine. Total fixed seating for the auditorium is 308 with wheelchair accommodations. 2.The auditorium will be dual purpose and will need to have a control system (Crestron or approved equal) at the back end with a simple front end control panel. 3.Primary purpose of the room will be as an instructor led conference room with audio re-enforcement and video routing of instructor supplied presentation hardware (MAC or PC). 4.Secondary purpose of the room will be a video conference facility that will accommodate multiple types of video conference gear, however, all microphone input as well as speaker output from the system should be considered to be of the USB connection class. 5.All audio, video and switching equipment shall be located in the designated tech room, and all wire runs are to be head ended in this location. 6.Equipment and installation labor as noted in the scope of work for a fully functional system including electrical, miscellaneous components, hardware, interconnections and terminations required for proper operation of all systems. Any equipment or items required to complete the project even if not specifically called for in the scope of work are required as part of this Contract.
