This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation document will not be issued. Submit offers on RFQ-RML-E-1796770 This acquisition will be made in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 "Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and solicitation for commercial Items," as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offers on RFQ-RML-E-1796770 The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Laboratory of Infectious Disease (LID), is seeking to purchase: A quantity of 2 of "miRNA Gene Chip 4.0 and FlashTag, 30 Array Reactions in each kit CAT# 902413 (manufacturer is Affymetrix) or equal. Quote must include any shipping and handling charges. Delivery date must be 24 hours after estimated award date of 6/20. Requirements: miRNA FlashTag Gene Chip kits must be equivalent to Affymetrix CAT# 902413 and be able to be used to analyze expressions between infected liver samples from chimpanzees with different types of hepatitis viruses. These miRNA FlashTag reagents and microarrays must be functionally tested and validated on miRNA 4.0 FlashTag arrays. This solicitation is a Request for Quotes (RFQ). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 05-86-2, effective February 1, 2016. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 325414 with a small business size standard of (1250). This requirement is not set aside for small business. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), has a need for miRNA Gene Chip 4.0 and FlashTag, 30 Array Reactions in each kit - CAT# 902413 (Affymetrix) or equal FOB Point shall be Destination; Bethesda, MD 20814.
