- Description
- This is a design-bid-build project for the construction of the Rota Navy Lodge expansion located at Naval Station Rota, Kingdom of Spain. The work includes construction of a 6217 SM (66,920 SF) four-story, 50 room expansion to the existing Navy Lodge with a concrete spread footing foundation, structural concrete first floor slab, cast-in place concrete walls and clay tile and modified bitumen roofing. The project also includes demolition of eight tennis courts and a small clubhouse, constructing a new parking lot, extensive pedestrian sidewalks and patios, playground area, half basketball court, site drainage and improvements, and alterations to site utilities as needed. Grading and storm water management controls will be implemented as required. A new grass paver fire lane will extend around the entire site to facilitate fire truck access. The contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment in accordance with RFP N33191-16-R-1002, Project Number T450914, NAVFAC Work Order Number 1335923.
