Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10, 24 Frank Lloyd Wright Drive, Lobby M, Suite 2200, Ann Arbor, MI 48105, is soliciting and intends to award a firm fixed price contract for upgrades of KayPentax video towers to be delivered and installed FOB Destination to the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System (NIHCS), 2121 Lake Ave., Ft. Wayne, IN 46805. NAICS code: 334510, the size standard is 500 employees. The Government intends, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1 to negotiate on a sole source basis with Pentax of America Inc. 3 Paragon Dr., Montvale, NJ 07645 for this procurement due to the proprietary nature of the software and the integration and interconnectivity of the software with the existing hardware at the facility. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. No telephonic inquiries or e-mail responses will be accepted.
