Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-88 (Effective 16 May 2016) and DFARs Publication Notice (DPN) 20160510 (Effective 10 May 2016) Edition. Award will be made to the most technically acceptable, lowest priced offer that meets the salient characteristics listed below. The size standard is $32,500,000 dollars. NAICS is 532490. This will be a full and open competition acquisition using FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). REQUIREMENTS The purpose of this statement of requirements is to provide a rental of one (1) diesel generator, at least 100KW and the rental of two (2) 500 gallon gravity feed diesel/jet A1 fuel tanks for approximately 6 months for usage of 24 hours per day (July 5 th 2016- Dec 20 th 2016, with a possible delayed start time all the way up to August 5 th 2016). Quote shall include Freight FOB Edwards AFB CA 93524 with Delivery by the start date. Interested parties who believe they can meet all the requirements for the generator and fuel tanks described in this synopsis are invited to submit in writing complete quote including delivery FOB destination Edwards AFB CA 93524. The Government will NOT accept any partial quotes. Offerors are required to submit with their quote enough information for the Government to evaluate the minimum requirements detailed in this synopsis.
