- THIS IS A SYNOPSIS OF A PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION. A SOLICITATION WILL FOLLOW 15 DAYS AFTER THIS SYNOPSIS POSTING DATA Synopsis: The Department of the Interior, National Park Service (NPS) intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) P16PS01557; HVAC System Emergency Repairs, Martin Van Buren National Historic Site (MAVA), 1013 Old Post Rd, Kinderhook, NY 12106-3605 by means of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Contract. The work includes providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation and supervision to repair HVAC system. Construction debris shall be removed from the park and disposed of in compliance with all applicable State and Local requirements. This project is being solicited as 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The solicitation including all quote documents will be posted to the websites, http://www.fedbizopps.gov and https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect on or about 22 June 2016. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed or issued. To receive the solicitation package you must download it from one of the above websites. It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the internet site daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. Contractors must be registered in the SAM-System for Award Management in order to receive contract awards. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 238220, Plumbing, heating, and air-conditioning contractors and the Size Standard is $15 million dollars. The estimated cost range for this project is less than $25,000 and is subject to the Davis-Bacon Act. A Bid Guarantee is not required. There will be a site visit, and perspective proposers are encouraged to visit the site to satisfy themselves as to conditions before providing a quote. The date and time for the site visit will be specified in the proposed solicitation.
