- TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY CRANE MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT 1.1REFERENCES A. Navy Facility Engineering Command (NAVFAC) P-307 Management of Weight Handling Equipment. 1.2 DESCRIPTION The intent of this scope of work is to provide instructions for ordering test weights that will be used to test various cranes at TRF. The weights can be solid steel or lead incased in steel. All weights must be fork-lift-able and stackable so all 299,500 pounds of weights can be lifted at one time. All weights must be painted to prevent corrosion and marked with actual weight. All test weights provided have to be in accordance with NAFVAC P-307. Weights must be in these increments: 11 - 20,000 pound weights 5 “ 12,500 pound weights, 1 “ 9,000 pound weight, 1 “ 5,000 pound weight, 1 “ 3,000 pound weight. 2.1 Performance A.Deliver completed weights to the Government not later than September 30, 2016
