- MARKET RESEARCH/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. PR #N6945016RC16371; NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXISTS. The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville is conducting a market survey to determine the availability of small businesses to provide equipment and training. Seven (7) Electromagnetic Utilities Locators (EUL) and six (6) Ground Penetrating Radars (GPR) to include training per site on the operation and maintenance of the equipment. One each of the seven (7) EUL ™s will be delivered to seven (7) different locations. One each of the six (6) GPR ™s will be delivered to six (6) different locations. Training shall be conducted at seven (7) locations. This will be a 100% small business set-aside for Federal Supply Code (FSC) 6695 under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 334519. A Firm-Fixed price contract is anticipated. It is anticipated that the Request for Quote will be issued no later than June 17, 2016. See attached Statement of Work (SOW) for information on requirements of equipment, training and delivery. Interested vendors are requested to submit a capability statement (2 page maximum) outlining their ability to meet or exceed this potential requirement no later than 4:00 pm (Eastern Standard Time), 08 June 2016, stating their business size, as well as a point of contact. The government will use the results of this announcement to determine whether the acquisition of the above described requirement should be solicited as a small business set-aside, or whether full and open competitive procedures should be utilized. The Government will not pay or provide reimbursement for any costs incurred in the preparation or delivery of the request for information.
