- SYNOPOSIS: U.S. GOVERNMENT seeks to lease the following office space through the Automated Advanced Acquisition Program (AAAP): State:NY City:NEW YORK-BROOKLYN Delineated Area:North: Metropolitan Ave East: Wyckoff Ave; Flushing Ave; Scott Ave South: Dekalb Ave; Broadway; Gates Ave West: Union Ave; Marcy Ave Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 12,625 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA):13,265 Space Type:Office Term: Up to 10 Years Parking: 0 Parking UNIQUE REQUIREMENTS: First floor, single floor, contiguous space is preferred. If unavailable, space may be on no more than two contiguous floors with 10-20% on one floor and the remainder on another contiguous floor. Space above ground level must be serviced by at least two accessible elevators, one of which may be a freight elevator. Basement or below grade space is unacceptable. Space should allow for efficient layout and office workflow and support a secure interviewing configuration. Columns must have regular spacing of sufficient distance to support effective design. Space must be easily accessible by public. HOW TO OFFER: The Automated Advanced Acquisition Program (AAAP), located at https://aaap.gsa.gov, will enable interested parties to offer space for lease to the Federal Government in response to RLP 16-Reg2. In addition, the Government will use its AAAP to satisfy the above space requirement. Interested parties must go to the AAAP website, select the "Register to Offer Space" link and follow the instructions to register. Instructional guides are offered in the "HELP" tab on the AAAP website. Once registered, interested parties may enter offers during any "Open Period," which will typically be the 1st through 7th of each month, ending at 11:59 PM EST on the 7th of the month. Lease award will be made to the lowest price, technically acceptable offer, without negotiations, based upon the RLP requirements package found on the AAAP website. During the Open Period, offerors will be permitted to submit new offers or modify existing offers. Offerors can draft an offer at any time; however, you can only submit an offer during the Open Period. The offered space must comply with RLP 16-Reg2 and must meet Federal Government, State, and Local jurisdiction requirements, including requirements for fire and life safety, security, accessibility, seismic, energy, and sustainability standards in accordance with the terms of the Lease.
