- This is the PWS for the Weapons Demil The 925th Contracting Battalion and Regional Contracting Center - Capital, Afghanistan is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the requirement for weapons demilitarization. The period of performance is for one base year and one 12 month option period. The intention is to procure these services on a competitive basis. The contract is anticipated to be a single award and firm fixed price. Please review the Performance Work Statement (PWS) in the attachment and respond with your ability to provide the services in accordance with the PWS. Your response to this Sources Sought shall be electronically submitted to the Contract Specialist, Rose Rivera, via email to rose.m.rivera @afghan.swa.army.mil and upload to JCCS. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR LOCAL AFGHAN VENDORS OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions.
