Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Denver Acquisition & Logistic Center (DALC) is conducting market research for surge protectors. Technical literature and/or specifications on the devices are needed for commercially available items. The surge protectors are to be white or beige with a 6 foot cord or longer and at least 790 Joules. Quantities of approximately one thousand must be available on a monthly basis and delivery must occur within 10 calendar days of order. We are also looking to see if this procurement could be set-aside for small businesses. All manufacturers and distributors are encouraged to respond. In order to help make this determination, the VA DALC needs to know the size of the business, type of business, size of manufacturer and where the device(s) are manufactured. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Has Special Authority for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business/Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB/VOSB) Set-aside and Sole Source Contracts. SVDOSBs and VOSBs must be registered with VetBiz. Please indicate if you are an SVDOSB or VOSB and if you are in the VetBiz VIP database.
