- Construction Project: McNary North Fish Ladder Lamprey Modification. This will be a firm-fixed-price construction contract located at McNary Dam, Umatilla Oregon. Estimated construction magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000; and 100% performance and payment bonds will be required. Summary Scope of Work: The work to be performed at McNary Dam North Fish Ladder will include minor modifications to improve passage conditions for adult Pacific lamprey. Modifications will include stainless steel plating at slope section weir walls that interface with diffuser gratings (8 plates total), stainless steel ramps at vertical obstacle (2 ramps total), stainless steel lamprey passage orifices in tilting weir stem walls (14 orifices total). The lamprey passage orifices will require cutting concrete stem walls (with embedded rebar) and installing prefabricated stainless steel insert to provide an additional passage route through the weir walls. Although the fish ladder will be mostly unwatered, the contractor will be required to provide pumps to fully dewater the work area. To summarize the contractor must have experience welding, stainless steel fabrication, concrete cutting, application of grout, and dewatering using pumps. Solicitation Number W912EF-16-B-0009 will be posted to the FBO website on or about July 25, 2016. The solicitation is an Invitation for Bids. Solicitation is open to Full and Open competition. NAICS code for this project is 237990, and the small business size standard is $36,500,000 average annual receipts. Such documentation may include a US passport, Certificate of US citizenship (INS Form N-560 or N-561), Certificate of Naturalization (INS Form N-550 or N-570), foreign passport with I-551 stamp or attached INS Form I-94 indicating employment authorization, Alien Registration Receipt Card with photograph (INS Form I-151 or I-551), Temporary Resident Card (INS Form I-688), Employment Authorization Card (INS Form I-688A), Reentry Permit (INS Form I-327), Refugee Travel Document (INS Form I-571), Employment Authorization Document issued by the INS which contains a photograph (INS Form I-688B).
