Description

This announcement is released by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Acquisition, Logistics, and Construction (OALC), Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), Eatontown, NJ, to notify industry of a TAC Open House on June 23, 2016. The objective of the Open House is to provide our industry partners with an opportunity to meet with, and hear from TAC contracting professionals and decision makers. It is a business casual event-please leave your business suits at home. The Open House will be conducted in a group setting with various topics discussed to include proposal lessons learned, source selection procedures, a TAC Contracting Officer (CO) question and answer panel and an Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) presentation. Participants will also receive information on FY16 year-end requirements. The event will conclude with an informal networking session. Please submit your questions in advance for the CO panel to the VATACOPENHOUSE@va.gov mail box. To support Veterans and the TAC's upcoming visits to our local VA Medical Centers we are asking participants to donate toiletry items (travel sized or full sized items). Donation bins will be available at the reception stations upon your arrival. Date & Time: Thursday, June 23, 2016 Reception Check-in: 8:00AM - 8:30AM Meeting: 8:30AM - 12:00PM Networking: 12:00PM - 1:00PM Location: Technology Acquisition Center 23 Christopher Way Eatontown, NJ 07724 Cost & Registration: There is no cost to attend this event; however, pre-registration is required. Presentation of email confirmation will be required at check-in. Registration is limited to one attendee per company, and will be accepted on a first come, first served basis until capacity is reached. Additional information and the registration link is available at https://www.voa.va.gov, under Open House. Event agenda and briefings will be posted under Open House Library 2016 prior to the meeting. A list of area hotels is attached for your convenience.
