- This is a pre-solicitation notice only. The Secret Service has a requirement for the services of a major event planner with the demonstrated capability, capacity, and proven experience to successfully interpret, implement, and integrate temporary law enforcement event physical security resource requirements, timelines, and planning sequences in support of designated venue requirements. The event project management planner services must possess experience in law enforcement event project management, event venue liaison, project resource organization and integration, and the temporary acquisition, permitting & licensing, delivery, installation, support, adjustment, transport, recovery, and removal of a variety of vendor supplied equipment or government furnished equipment, material, or services used to successfully support temporary Secret Service protective mission event responsibilities at selected venues for the 2016 National Conventions listed below: Republican National Convention (RNC) - July 18-21, 2016 - Cleveland, Ohio Democratic National Convention (DNC) - July 25-29, 2016 - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania The work will consist of providing perimeter security that includes bike rack barricades, portable vehicle barriers, anti-scale fencing and concrete barriers and other miscellaneous equipment as well as installation of directional signage. Details regarding the meeting location of each planned event will only be released to those potential offeror (s) that have expressed an interest in this requirement and have completed the registration as required by this announcement. All interested offeror (s) must furnish the following information to Ms. Danielle Donaldson at danielle.donaldson@usss.dhs.gov, no later than --- June 3, 2016 at 2:00 PM ET. 1. The DUNS number of company interested in attending (note company must be registered in SAM). 2. This requirement is unrestricted. 3. A list of all employees that will be attending each site visit (maximum of 4 attendees per company). 4. A signed Non-Disclosure form from each attending employee (SSF 4024 - Non-Disclosure form will be issued to you for completion once we receive your Duns number.) The site visits are scheduled for the following dates: Republican National Convention - Cleveland, OH - June 8, 2016 - 10:00 AM (Eastern) Democratic National Convention - Philadelphia, PA - June 9, 2016 - 10:00 AM (Eastern) Once information is received, all approved parties will receive instructions on attending the site visits. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 561990 and this solicitation is unrestricted. Due to the nature of this event the government will only solicit from those companies based in the United States. The solicitation will only be provided to those offeror(s) who participate in the site visits. Companies must attend both site visits in order to participate in the solicitation. There will be no posting or other release of a formal solicitation. This is a competitive acquisition that will result in a single award of a Firm Fixed Price Contract. Award will be made on the best value/trade-offs that provides the greatest value to the Government in meeting this requirement. Any costs associated with the site visits are not reimbursable by the Government.
