THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The Department of Veterans Affairs, John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, Detroit, Michigan is seeking a contractor to conduct load testing on 175 ceiling lifts with the facility. Period of performance is October 1, 2016 - September 30, 2017 with four (4) additional option years. The applicable North American Classification Code (NAICS) is 561990. All potential bidders MUST be registered and active in the System for Award Management site (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov. Potential bidders should register at https://www.fedbizopps.gov in order to receive notification of and/or changes to the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued electronically and will be available only via the Federal Business Opportunities website https://www.fedbizopps.gov. This action is 100 percent (100%) set aside for veteran owned small business. No fax or email bid packages shall be accepted. Bid packages will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about June 21, 2016. No phone, fax or email inquiries will be taken for this Pre-Solicitation Notice.
