Description

Unit map Location Map Return Package Solicitation This solicitation is Request for Quote for Chainsaw Felling. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items and incidental services necessary to complete chainsaw felling on 197.1 acres of woodland restoration and 31.6 acres of wildlife opening daylighting (optional item). A detailed description of the required work is provided in the attached contract specifications. The sawdown areas are located on the Warwoman Wildlife Management Area of the Chattahoochee National Forest approximately 5 miles east of Clayton, Georgia. A vicinity map and maps of the treatment sites are attached. Estimated Start Date - July 15, 2016 Contract duration - 150 days Completion Date - December 15, 2016 Prebid Meeting- is scheduled for May 25, 2016 @ 0900 at the Chattooga River Ranger District, 9975 Hwy 441 South, Lakemont, GA 30552.
