Description
J&A Sole Source Notice Description: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE This is not a request for competitive quotes and no solicitation is available. The Regional Contracting Office Stuttgart Germany (RCO-S) intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price award to a single source under the Authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, on or about 15 June 2016. The Associated North America Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 511210 (Software Products). The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract to Accenture Federal Services LLC, 800 North Glebe Rd # 300, Arlington, VA 22203-1807. Not obtaining this requirement from Accenture would increase the total cost for the Task Management System required and jeopardize the system integration between units effected. This Requirement is for software licenses, service support and training for the Task Management Tool which is a software based system to receive tasks both internal and external, as well as the ability to track suspense dates, route tasks both internally and externally as well as coordinate with all Enterprise components. Other DOD components, such as the US Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command, DISA, Air Combat Command, Air Force Space Command, and Defense Logistics Agency. These commands, which utilize TMT are tied together in system called "Tasker Net." The requirement consists of the upgrade from 2.x to 4.x, between 2,000 to 4,000 TMT Software Licenses, Training on new upgraded system and on call maintenance support. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by responding to this Notice no later than 9:00AM Eastern Time, 25 May 2016 by email to William.t.cundy.mil@mail.mil ; no telephone communications will be entertained. The subject line in the email shall state "Response to Notice of Intent - Accenture Federal Services LLC." All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the services required and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. The Government reserves the right to cancel the sole source award. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 511210, Software Products.
