- Revised Solicitation Attachment 1 Past Performance Data Attachment 2 Past Performance Questionnaire J&A THIS CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT 0001 TO SOLICITATION N32205-16-T-4205. Item 1 P/N 9Y-8740 / 119-5108 is deleted from the requirement. The response date is changed to May 26, 2016 at 0800 Norfolk VA local time. See attached revised solicitation, J&A and other attachments. Military Sealift Command is requesting quotes to provide the materials identified in Solicitation N32205-16-T-4205. See Attached Solicitation for Caterpillar Inc. brand name materials. Original equipment manufacturer (OEM) materials are required. Any offer for other than OEM materials will not be considered. Please provide a quote soonest, and no later than May 17, 2016 at 08:00 am Norfolk, VA local time directly to Mr. Tommy Hale at tommy.a.hale@navy.mil. It is anticipated one purchase order will be isued in repsponse to this RFQ and will be issed to, if at all, to the lowest priced technically acceptable quoter. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or request for quotes and no contract or purchase order will be awarded from this notice. The solicitation, specifications and drawings are NOT available at this time. Military Sealift Command has a requirement for the USNS SUPPLY (T-AOE-6) for the below Caterpillar Inc. brand name materials: (1) P/N 9Y-8740 / 119-5108 Hydro Mechanical Shut-Off Assy, QTY 2 EA (2) P/N 418-8820 Injector, Assy, QTY 60 EA (3) P/N 292-8198 Push Rod, QTY 10 EA (4) P/N 7C-2144 Gasket QTY 15 EA (5) P/N 134-5643 Gasket QTY 30 EA (6) P/N 7L-9061 Seal, O-Ring QTY 50 EA (7) P/N 165-3925 Bolt, Hex QTY 50 EA (8) P/N SP-9890 Seal, QTY 32 EA (9) P/N 7E-3114 Plate, QTY 8 EA (10) P/N 7E-2495 Barring, GRP QTY 2 EA The delivery of the material will be MSC Warehouse, Norfolk, VA, 23511 on May 2, 2016. All Small businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Certified HUBZone and Certified 8(a) Small Businesses are encouraged to respond. The Government will determine whether a set-aside acquisition in lieu of full and open competition is in the Government's best interest. This office anticipated award of a contract. The appropriate NAICS Code is 333618, Other Engine Equipment Manufacturing, which has a size standard of 1,500 employees. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE OR PROPOSAL. It is a market research tool used to determine the availability and adequacy of potential small business sources prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of an award. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. It is requested that interested small businesses submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities package demonstrating ability to provide the requested items. This document shall address, as a minimum the following: (1) Company Profile to include number of employees, office location(s), DUNS number, CAGE Code and a statement regarding small business designation and status; (2) The facility where the work will be performed (3) Partnership agreements with any large businesses. Submission of a capabilities statement is not a prerequisite to any potential future offerings, but participation will assist the Government in tailoring requirement to be consistent with industry.
