- Synopsis FA2860-16-R-0001-SYNOPSIS has been amended to remove the Mid-Atlantic Region set-aside. Synopsis The 11th Contracting Squadron intends to procure services where prospective contractors shall furnish all personnel, labor, equipment, transportation, tools, materials, supplies, supervision, quality control, management and other items and services necessary to perform grounds and landscape maintenance services and improvements, to include snow and ice removal services, at Joint Base Andrews (JBA) and its affiliated communication sites at Brandywine and Davidsonville, Maryland. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated at a mutually agreed upon price for one base year and four option years. This action will be 100% set-aside for HUBZone small businesses on a competitive basis. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561730, with a business size standard of $7.5 million. The anticipated period of performance for the base period is 01 August 2016 through 31 July 2017. This action includes four (4) subsequent, 12 month option periods; spanning from 01 August 2016 2016 through 31 January 2022. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 20 May 2016 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award.
