- The Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) intends to issue a solicitation under solicitation number W91CRB-16-R-0027 a 100% Small Business Set-aside. The solicitation is anticipated to be for a five year (three year base period and two one-year option periods) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The NAICS code is 333992 with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. The solicitation is anticipated to be for Machining, Welding, Painting and Fabrication Support Services at the US Army Aberdeen Test Center (ATC), Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005. The scope of work is anticipated to be, but not limited to the following: a.) Machine shop operations such as sawing, turning, milling, grinding, and heat treatment of metallic and non-metallic materials; b.) Machining and welding activities supporting the daily operations of the shop in performing fabrication services and operating various machine tools; c.) Welding, fabrication and assembly of metallic and non-metallic materials or components to make completed assemblies per drawings or blueprints in accordance with assigned print tolerances; d.) Water jet cutting, oxy-fuel cutting, plasma cutting and laser cutting services; and e.) Painting and sign making support. There is no solicitation available at this time. A formal solicitation release is planned later this month (May 2016). The official release of the solicitation will be posted on the FedBizOpps (FBO) website located at the following address: https://www.fbo.gov. The on-line version of the RFP will include all documents of the solicitation package. No hard copy of the solicitation will be issued. Amendments, if any, will be posted at the same location as the solicitation. The complete solicitation package, including amendments, should be received and reviewed prior to submitting a response. It is the responsibility of those responding to the solicitation to obtain all amendments and/or other applicable documents.
