Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information on Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), or Small Businesses (SB) interests, capabilities, and qualifications to determine if a set-aside is appropriate. Proposals are NOT being requested or accepted at this time. The Department of Veterans Affairs, - Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) NCO-12, has a requirement to upgrade an existing sump pump system, installing new trench drains with steel grate coverings, and provide and install a trash pump in the sub-basement at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center, Iron Mountain, MI, 49801 The information obtained through this notice will be utilized exclusively as market research for acquisition planning purposes for the future solicitation of a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Single-Award Contract. All work to be performed will be within North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Codes 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors with a Small Business Size Standard of $14.0M. Interested parties responding to this sources sought request shall submit the following information: (1) Company name and address, point of contact, phone number, and DUNS number. (2) Documentation relating to capability of performance of similar construction projects (including references from previous awards and resumes' of employees, both prime and sub-contractors). (3) Intentions of subcontracting program to include Set-Asides; (4) Proof of registration in the VA Vet-Biz database. (5) Documentation of company's bonding capacity and limitations, both individual and total. (6) Any other pertinent company documentation. The response date to this Sources Sought notice is 25 May 2016. Submit electronic submissions only at mark.graveline@va.gov.
