Description
This is a SSC Pacific combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. SSC Pacific is seeking to shock test the AS-4710/U High Gain Information Operations (HGIO) Antenna in accordance with SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific, Heavyweight Shock Test Procedure for the AS- 4710/U HGIO Antenna as required per Mil-S-901D and OPNAVINST 9072.2A on behalf of the ISR Electromagnetic Systems Technology Branch, Code 52280. This announcement constitutes only the solicitation. Competitive quotes are being requested under N66001- 16-R-0170. This requirement is full and open. The NAICS code is 541380 and the size standard is $15 million dollars. NOTE: Offerors must have an Approved Class Hi Shock Testing Machine, per NAVSEAINST 9491.1D for Floating Shock Platform. Basis for award: The government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price purchase order and it will be based on the lowest priced technically acceptable quote. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-87 (3/07/2016) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), 26 Feb 2016. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses can be accessed in full text at www.farsite.hill.af.mil.
