Description
Q & A: Q1: Do we clean the vent lines to the individual apartment units? A1: Yes, main vent lines and vent lines coming from the individual apartment units need to be cleaned. Q2: Are there only two buildings where vent line rooms are located underground or above the ceiling area? A2: Yes, building 1670 and 26 are the only buildings that are structured as stated. Other buildings are equipped with utility rooms like building 378 where vent lines are easily accessible at each floor level. Q3: Are we allowed making penetrations to access the inside vent lines?? A3: The Government will make access openings on the vent lines. As the contract is awarded, we will discuss where to make the openings. Q4: To be considered a qualified vendor does the offeror need to have a certified business license for cleaning? A4: This requirement does not require special licenses. However, your company needs to be registered to operate in your local government. Q5: What kind of cleaning tools/materials do we need to conduct this cleaning service? A5: The government will not specify tools/materials, please use the tools/materials that you use/used in the similar contracts in your past performance information. Q6: How many buildings are to be cleaned in this contract? A6: Below is the list of buildings. 9 buildings per year will be scheduled for cleaning.
