- Market Research Questionnaire for Sasebo MARKET RESEARCH FOR HOUSEHOLD GOODS (HHG) PACKING AND CRATING SERVICES (DIRECT PROCUREMENT METHOD) FOR SASEBO, JAPAN. This Market Survey is to define the Japanese commercial practice and whether or not it meets the Government requirements. Please answer the questions below. Reasons for your response as necessary, suggested alternate plans or services would be appreciated. This information will not be used with other contractors or organizations, outside of the US Government. We greatly appreciate your input. The period of performance is anticipated to be for Base Year (12 months after date of contract (ADC)) with four (4) twelve-month options, for total of five (5) years. The anticipated performance start date is 1 Jan 17. This service includes but is not limited to packing, containerization, providing storage and local drayage of household goods for inbound, outbound, intra-city and intra-area services as defined in the Performance-based Work Statement (PWS). NOTE: THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED IN ITS ENTIRETY IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. THE SUCCESSFUL OFFER MUST BE LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO PERFORM THE SERVICE IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN.
