- Market Research Questionnaire for Yokota Air Base MARKET RESEARCH FOR HOUSEHOLD GOODS (HHG) PACKING AND CRATING SERVICES (DIRECT PROCUREMENT METHOD) FOR YOKOTA AIR BASE, JAPAN. This Market Survey is to define the Japanese commercial practice and whether or not it meets the Government requirements. Please answer the questions below. Reasons for your response as necessary, suggested alternate plans or services would be appreciated. This information will not be used with other contractors or organizations, outside of the US Government. We greatly appreciate your input. Please provide your response to the POC below no later than 1500 hours, 27 May 16 by either in writing directly to the attached format (pdf version ) or in Word version (available upon request). ANTICIPATED PERFORMANCE DATE: YOKOTA: 1 Jan 18 thru 31 Dec 18 with Four (4) twelve-months Options (Subject to change) Area of Performance: Japan 海外・国内向け引越業務に関する市場調査　－　横田基地（東京都）　この市場調査は、日本の商習慣を明確にさせていただくと共に、日本の市場で提供されるサービスと私どもの要求がどこまで沿うものかを確認させていただくものです。ご回答にご協力お願い致します。尚、頂いたご回答は、米国政府以外の他の業者及び団体に公表･使用されることは一切ございませんので、何卒ご協力の程宜しくお願い申し上げます。ご回答は2016年5月27日15時までに下記までメールまたはFAXでご回答いただければ幸甚です。ご回答は直接書き込むか、担当者までご連絡いただければワードにて書き込んでいただけるものを送信させていただきます。 作業地域：日本国内 作業開始予定： 横田: 2018年1月1日 ~ 2017年12月31日 (追加年　4年)(変更の可能性あり) Description: The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services and materials, except as specified as government-furnished in the Performance-based Work Statement, for the preparation of personal property of Department of Defense (DOD) personnel for shipment and/or storage and related services through the Direct Procurement Method (DPM) at Yokota Air Base, Tokyo, Japan. The period of performance is anticipated to be for Base Year (12 months after date of contract (ADC)) with four (4) twelve-month options, for total of five (5) years. The anticipated performance start date is 1 Jan 18 for Yokota Air Base. This service includes but is not limited to packing, containerization, providing storage and local drayage of household goods for inbound, outbound, intra-city and intra-area services as defined in the Performance-based Work Statement (PWS). NOTE: THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED IN ITS ENTIRETY IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. THE SUCCESSFUL OFFER MUST BE LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO PERFORM THE SERVICE IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN.
