Description
Statement of Work Wage Rates Wayne County MI Clauses SCOPE OF WORK USCG Station Belle Isle Front Entrance Paint and Repair PART 1 PROJECT DESCRIPTION 1.1 Remove lead paint (Ref: 29CFR1926.62), resurface, and paint ceiling above front entrance to building. Provide and install new exterior lighting fixtures. PART 2 DESCRIPTION OF WORK 2.1 Properly abate all lead based material from the ceiling and soffit areas. Resurface entire ceiling ensuring that all cracks and or breaks are properly repaired and tooled smooth. 2.2 Provide and apply exterior primer and paint to the ceiling matching the existing main building. 2.3 Reconstruct entire perimeter of front entrance soffit matching the existing stucco siding. 2.4 Install new weather proof exterior grade lighting fixtures properly spaced throughout the ceiling field 2.5 A site visit can be arranged by contacting the point of contact. PART 3 LOCATION OF WORK 3.1 U.S. Coast Guard Station Belle Isle, Detroit, MI 48207. PART 4 MATERIAL INFORMATION 4.1 Contractor will furnish all equipment needed to complete work. No U.S. Coast Guard equipment will be utilized. 4.2 The contractor's equipment shall be conspicuously marked for identification. PART 5 WORK HOURS/COORDINATION 5.1 All communications will go through the POC listed. No work can be modified or changed without their permission. 5.2 Work to be completed should have minimal impact on the unit's operation. In the event any of the utilities need to be secured, these items should be well planned out. 5.3 Normal work hours for the unit is 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday-Friday, excluding all Federal Holidays. Any work outside these times need to be worked out and approved by the POC ahead of time. PART 8 MILITARY REGULATIONS / LIABILITIES 8.1 The contractor will be financially responsible for any and all damages incurred while working on Government property. 8.2 The contractor, his employees and sub contractors shall become familiar with and obey all station regulations. 8.3 All personnel employed on the project shall keep within the limits of the work and avenues of ingress and egress. Personnel shall not enter any other areas outside the site of work unless required to do so in the performance of their duties and have obtained verbal permission from POC or the Officer of the Day 8.4 There shall be no smoking in any Coast Guard building and only in designated areas. PART 9 PROJECT COMPLETION / ACCEPTANCE OF WORK 9.1 All work completed shall be approved by the POC. The site is to be at a minimum as clean of a condition as it was found in. All trash, debris, materials removed, etc. should be properly disposed by the contractor. PART 10 LABORER WAGES 10.1 Quote must reflect hourly wages prescribed by the Department of Labor in the attached Wage Determination Document. PART 11 HAZMAT 11.1 Disposal of HAZMAT shall be in accordance with Federal, State and local regulations.
