Notice Type: Sources Sought Synopsis Solicitation Number: FA8307-16-R-0124 Title: ThermoVision 3000 (THV-3000) Multi-Sensor Thermal Imager System OEM: FLIR Systems, Inc. CAGE Code: 3UVR3 NAICS Code: 333314 Classification Code: 5855 1. Purpose: THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. This Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is in support of Market Research being conducted by the United States Air Force to determine if this effort can be competed. This is not a Request for Proposal (or solicitation) or an indication that a contractual commitment will exist for this requirement. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of the market research. 2. AFLCMC/HNCK Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division, Contracting Branch Joint Base San Antonio - Lackland TX, is seeking vendors who have the capability to provide the following: 1. THV3000 MS, GPS, NTSC, Color Sand (P/N 614005655/221NNG or 321NNG), Quantity: 1 each 2. JPC2 TASS, Color Sand (P/N 614005412/021), Quantity: 1 each 3. Transport Case PTH and JPC2 (P/N 614006959), Quantity: 1 each 4. System Cable, P/T to JPC, short (P/N 614005888), Quantity: 1 each 5. Adapter RCA-BNC (P/N 1910256), Quantity: 1 each 6. Video Cable 3 m (P/N 908929), Quantity: 1 each 7. Host Cable 5m, complete with converter (P/N 614005140), Quantity: 1 each 8. Powerbox 19" (P/N 614006013), Quantity: 1 each 9. Cable, AC Power Input (P/N 05440-000), Quantity: 1 each 10. Joystick Control Unit (JCU) (P/N 194783), Quantity: 1 each 11. JCU Cable 3m (P/N 194612), Quantity: 1 each 12. Maintenance kit (P/N 614006675), Quantity: 1 each 13. Transport Case support kit (P/N 614006960), Quantity: 1 each 14. System Cable 61m, reel assy in case (P/N 614006524), Quantity: 1 each 3. The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) is FLIR Systems, Inc. 4. The ThermoVision 3000 (THV-3000) Multi-Sensor Thermal Imager System is on the approved equipment list for Command, Control and Display Equipment (CCDE) for Air Force Security Forces. FLIR Systems, Inc. is listed as the only source on both Program Office Source Control Drawings for the ThermoVision 3000 (THV-3000) Multi-Sensor Thermal Imager System, (IBDSS10000-085/086). 5. Potential vendors for this effort would have to have an agreement with the OEM, FLIR Systems, Inc. to ensure they can meet specifications and the appropriate Air Force approvals. 6. This is not a request for competitive proposals. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If a firm believes it is capable of meeting the Government's requirement, it may identify its interest and capability to the Contract Specialist within five (5) days of this publication at elizabeth.arzola@us.af.mil. Those interested firms must indicate whether they are a large, small, small disadvantaged, 8 (a) or woman owned business and whether they are located in the U.S. or foreign owned. Please include your Cage Code and DUNs Number, and whether you can provide this on any other schedule contracts. 7. An AFLCMC Ombudsman has been appointed to hear and facilitate the resolution of concerns from offerors, potential offerors, and others for this acquisition. Before consulting the Ombudsman, interested parties must first address their concerns, issues, disagreements, and/or recommendations to the contracting officer for resolution.
