- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for Eulerian Hydrocode Engineering Services. The Eulerian Hydrocode Engineering Services are available from Weidlinger Associates, Inc. The NAICS code is 541330 and the business size is $15,000,000.00. The proposed purchase order is being solicited on a sole-source basis to Weidlinger Associates, Inc. The proposed action is for the procurement of Eulerian Hydrocode Engineering Services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). The basis for restricting competition is for the following reasons: the required services will fill an expected 4-month contract gap between two sole source IDIQ contracts with Weidlinger Assoicates, Inc. The NSWCCD intends to award a firm fixed-price purchase order to Weidlinger Assoicates, Inc. using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Interested parties may identify their interest to this requirement by submitting a capabilities statement no later than 26 May 2016. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received by 26 May 2016 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Inquiries should be directed to John G.
