- U.S. Customs and Border Protection U.S. Border Patrol Federal Business Opportunities: Intention to Award - Sole Source. U.S. Customs and Border Protection intends to award a sole source order for camera systems to Athens Technical Specialists, Inc under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302.1. This synopsis is being published for informational purposes only. Notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The U.S. Border Patrol has been testing these particular camera systems for over 4 years and now intends to purchase a quantity to expand their use. The ATSI specific equipment has proven to be unique for our operational needs. The Border Patrol is now using this equipment and its variations. This is the only system of its kind that has been approved to be used on the CBP intranet. This acquisition is being procured under FAR part 13 and will result in the issuance of one (1) delivery order in the amount of $123,865.17 under GSA contract GS: 07F 0458V
